Pretty smart for a bit Video Camera

I was knowledgeable photographer 25+ years ago and this whole age of digital photography and video is realy wonderful. My Nikon D-300 continues to amaze me with its quality of non film images. though I own a semi-pro Canon HD video camera, I had a requirement for atiny low transportable video device that might conjointly shoot video in a very format for internet upload while not my eager to convert it with Adobe Premier components. I scan several reviews and settled on the Sanyo VPC-CG10 (very similar model) mainly as a result of its having a 5X Optical zoom. I don't just like the quality of digital zooms within the baby cameras while not adequate area for an actual moving zoom lens and was terribly happy to check that this one had a true optical zoom. I actually have used it many times for the past two weeks, have played around with its terribly simple to use menus, and have watched the results on an outsized monitor to check the standard of its HD image. i'm terribly happy and would advocate it highly with only 1 factor i'm bummed regarding. Wheh I take video, I usually wish or got to PAUSE the camera for many seconds (or minutes) and then re-start identical video. This camera has NO PAUSE FEATURE therefore you automatically begin a brand new file if you are doing something to prevent the present video. Since I don't apprehend if any ofthe alternative baby video cameras has pause capability, this could be a mute purpose. i prefer it a lot!
