What you wish to know:
- CX190 doesn't have barely screen (CX200 & CX210 do)
- doesn't have internal memory
- needs category four or higher memory card
- does not take footage whereas recording in highest quality
- three2GB card holds somewhat over 3 hours in highest quality
- camcorder has inbuilt USB cable for transfer or charging
- lens cowl is manual
- camcorder automatically activates when screen is opened
- buttons/controls are within the same place as my previous handycam
- camcorder is surprisingly slim and light-weight
- video is very clear (outside is best than within however each are therefore clear you are feeling such as you are within the video)
- no wind noise may be heard within the play back of the video
- camcorder incorporates a threaded receiver for tripod
- USB cable (about 3" long) is made in and slides into the strap when not getting used
I have to mention, "I love Sony." Having owned a handycam before, I immediately felt comfy operating the CX190. My previous handycam wasn't an HD camcorder that the video shot with this camcorder is unbelievable particularly compared to my SD camcorder. The indoor and low lightweight video isn't as clear as video shot outside within the daylight however the video remains terribly clear.
I am terribly impressed with this camcorder. it's smaller than my previous handycam, takes a lot of clearer video, and was less costly. i do not have any complaints. I did not need a bit screen and also the memory card was cheaper than internal storage.
You won't regret getting Sony HDR-CX190
